Williams Out

Vikings defensive tackle Pat Williams is out for todays playoff game vs the Eagles. This is a huge blow for the Vikings, because without him, they are vunerable to the run. Williams was hurt two weeks ago, and some thought he might play, but he has been deactivated.

This raises the question, that with a huge hole in the middle of the Vikings defense, will Andy Reid let Westbrook and Buckhalter run through it and open up the passing game, or stubbornly throw it anyway. It might not either way, but the run is now a option for the Eagles.

In other good news for the Eagles, LJ Smith is also inactive, and Brent Celek will start in his place.
